Swimming pools, both public and private, are most likely to be the center of activities during the summer months where people prefer to spend their time enjoying and relaxing. The summer is also the time of the year when different occasions such as birthday celebrations, company outings and even barbeques with friends and families are most likely to be held. With constant activity going on in and out of the pool as well as factors such as the heat of the summer and the humidity brought about by the pool, molds are most likely to appear not just on the tile enclosure of the pool, but also on areas that are repeatedly damped by the people going out of the pool. These molds have to be cleaned because not only do they look unsightly, but they are also one of the main causes of accidents at the pool as they are very slippery and people who happen to walk on them may slide and get hurt. Pools, especially the public ones, need to be cleaned regularly in order to remove unsightly and dangerous patches of molds.

It takes a lot of time when it comes to cleaning the pool area. It also takes a lot of effort to thoroughly clean a pool, especially if you would clean it the traditional way – scrubbing the tiles with soap and a brush. However, if you clean a pool using a pressure washer, the usually hard-to-clean and time-consuming task will most likely be finished within a shorter period of time than it takes to do it the old-fashioned way.
If you have a detergent-mixing pressure washer attachment with your unit, then you could maximize your pressure washer’s cleaning power and efficiency because you will be able to apply a cleaning detergent while spraying the surfaces. You can allow the detergent to sit for about 10 minutes and then rinse it off with soap. You should be careful not to leave any soap residue. Once you are finished cleaning the pool, you can start filling it up again with clean water and thus let the vacationers enjoy an exciting summer in the pool.
